DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN LIMA - A representative of our local travel agency will be waiting for you at the international airport in Lima and will transfer you to your town hotel. Overnight in the selected Lima hotel.
DAY 2: FLIGHT LIMA – CUSCO & CITY TOUR - Transfer from your hotel to the airport for an early morning flight to Cusco. Arrival and transfer to your selected hotel. In the afternoon you will take part of a city tour in the “Inca Royal City of Cusco”, visiting the most interesting spots: the Plaza de Armas, surrounded by its beautiful stone arcade, the Cathedral, with the picturesque style of its interiors, the Covent of Santo Domingo which was built above the Inca Temple of the Sun and of course the gigantic zigzag stone walled fortress of Sacsayhuaman as well as the shrines of Kenco, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay. Entrance fees are included. You will also visit an alpaca wool manufacturer. Overnight in the selected Cusco hotel. Breakfast included.
DAY 3: CUSCO - Day at leisure for optional activities. We strongly recommend the full day excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas with visits to the Indian Market of Pisac, the Ollanta living Inca village and the Ollantaytambo fortress. Overnight in the selected Cusco hotel. Breakfast included.
DAY 4: CUSCO - AGUAS CALIENTES - After breakfast you will check out and a private service will take you to the train station. You leave your main luggage at the hotel storage and get ready for a panoramic three-hour train ride along the Urubamba River. After your arrival in Aguas Calientes at around noon you will enjoy a typical lunch at the "Inka Wasy" Restaurant. Rest of the afternoon at leisure. At 7:00pm briefing for next day tour to the Machu Picchu Ruins. Overnight at the selected hotel in Aguas Calientes. Breakfast included.
DAY 5: MACHU PICCHU - On board of a minibus you will climb the dusty zigzag road that takes you to the ruins of Machu Picchu. A guided tour of the ruins will be provided for approximately 2 hours followed by some free time do discover the archeological complex on your own, lunch is provided. In the afternoon you will take a train from Aguas Calientes back to Cusco. The train departs at around 4:30 p.m. You will be transferred from the train station to your hotel in Cusco. Overnight in the selected Cusco hotel. Breakfast included.
DAY 6: CUSCO – Day at leisure in the city for optional activities. Close to the downtown area of Cuzco, you can visit the San Pedro Central Market located near the Church and Monastery of Santa Clara. The market is enormous and sells an array of traditional and offbeat items. You can purchase handicrafts, beauty products, fresh fruits, sweet breads, traditional llama fetuses or colorful masks. Cuzco also has many options for bars and clubs to experience the nightlife. Overnight in the selected Cusco hotel. Breakfast included.
DAY 7: TRANSFER OUT - BREAKFAST - Transfer from the hotel to the airport in Cusco. Flight back to Lima and connection flight to return to the USA.
